Since I started to work with Oklahoma Dee my game has progressed tremendously far. First, my mental game has come along the furthest. I have skills provided by Dee to keep a positive attitude and grind out each and every stage regardless of how I am shooting on a given day. I also developed a routine before the shoot, during the shoot and after which is repeatable and helps maintain consistency for every match I attend.
Further, I have learned to be more observant of what I am doing during practices and matches. This has helped in correcting technical areas of my game and in stage preparation. I learned to be more critical of my gear and not to settle for anything than the best, both of my gear and myself.
I was regularly shooting sub 20 second stages. Since my work with Dee I have seen more sub 15 second stages and less trainwrecks. I also saw a jump in my finishes. This year with his help I have placed 6th, 3rd and 12th overall in my last annual matches around the state.
I can’t recommend him enough if any cowboy or cowgirl truly wants to improve their overall game.

This was a very positive and informative lesson. I learned many things about what it takes to be the best and
to be the best you must practice. If I had to chose one thing from this lesson that is important to me, it would be that I learned
HOW TO PRACTICE. Thanks Oklahoma Dee for your help and advice it has made me a better shooter already.

Being coached in cowboy shooting by Oklahoma Dee was a great learning experience ,as well as, a treat. He give me an outline of positive things to focus on, which I try to read weekly and carry out the contents. He evaluated my equipment used in our sport and revealed what champions were using, which opened my eyes. He videoed me shooting a couple of stages and dissected them on my pros and cons, always stressing safety. There is no doubt I will be a better shooter after attending the mini-seminar hosted by OKD. Above all he stressed to believe in yourself.
To a great instructor, as well as, a great person. Thanks for a enjoyable experience. TexasTommyGun.
